Coastal Carolina Baseball Opens Caravelle Resort Invitational with 14-4 Win over Toledo

CONWAY, S.C. – The eighth-ranked Coastal Carolina University baseball team (8-1) opened the Caravelle Resort Invitational with a 14-4 win over Toledo (2-2) March 5 in Conway, S.C.  The Chants scored multiple runs in the first four innings of the 10-run win.

Coastal Carolina Men's Basketball Celebrates Senior Day with 101-71 win over VMI

CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina University men’s basketball team (26-5, 15-3 Big South) trailed VMI (10-18, 5-13 Big South) by one at the half, but started the second period on a 9-0 run and never looked back in a 101-71 victory over the Keydets on Senior Day at Kimbel Arena.

MYRTLE BEACH, SC – The Ripken Experience/Myrtle Beach announced today that Reggie Sanders, former Major League Baseball great and World Series Champion will headline its annual spring break camp. The camp will take place April 1 – 3 at the world-class baseball facility located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Coastal Carolina Baseball Opens Baseball at the Beach with 11-7 Win over James Madison

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The 12th-ranked Coastal Carolina University baseball team (4-1) opened Baseball at the Beach with an 11-7 win over James Madison (0-1) Feb. 26 at BB&T Coastal Field in Myrtle Beach, S.C.  The two teams traded leads for the first four innings before a five-run Coastal fifth gave the Chants the advantage for good.

Coastal Carolina Baseball Shuts Out Wake Forest 2-0

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The 12th-ranked Coastal Carolina University baseball team (3-1) used a solid outing from its pitching staff and made the two runs it had in the first four innings hold up in a 2-0 shutout of Wake Forest (2-3) Feb. 23 in Winston-Salem, N.C.  Redshirt-junior Jim Birmingham earned the first win of his Coastal career, pitching five shutout innings.
